Motorola and USAID/Brazil create partnership on youth employability
Youth at the

The Motorola Corporation established a partnership with USAID/Brazil to increase the number of youth from low-income neighborhoods of Salvador that will receive training for the job market.  From 2004 to 2007, the Enter Jovem Program offered training to 4,200 youth from Salvador, Recife and Fortaleza. In 2008, the original target was to train 2,400 youth. With the new investment of USD100,000 provided by Motorola, summed to the same amount matched by USAID, it will be possible to include over 800 additional youth in the program through September 2008.
