    Warning:

For security reasons, visa applicants and American citizens are not allowed to enter the Consulates or the Embassy grounds with bags (with the exception of one small purse), cell phones or any other electronic devices.

Please note that the Consulates and the Embassy will not be responsible for any lost or damaged personal items exceptionally left with the Consulate’s local guard detachment. Neither the Consulates nor the Embassy have appropriate storage facilities.

    Preventing Fraud:

Preventing fraud in the visa process is one of the U.S. Embassy Consular Section’s top priorities. Visa fraud forces applicants to pay more for visa services, therefore, it is in the interests of all visa applicants to help us prevent, detect and eliminate fraud.

If you would like to report abuse of a valid visa or of any abuse by either a travel agency or other sponsor of visa-related programs or services, we welcome information which can help ensure the integrity of the visa process.
